We will meet up late Friday afternoon/evening at a public campsite in Wales where there will be showers and toilets on site, there will be a campfire and a chance to get to know others in your group before we set off on Saturday morning after breakfast, the Saturday will involve many off road tracks but may involve some amount tarmac driving between lanes, there will be a break for lunch and many stops for photo opportunity. The day will end about 18:00 with a wild camp and a good cook-up and drink. Sunday will follow the same rules as Saturday with the day ending about 16:00-17:00 ready for your journey home...
Our weekend are aimed at all types of 4x4 with little or no modification, we would recommend you have All Terrain tyres, although this is not essential!. CB radio can also be a worthwhile purchase for communication between vehicles. Other wise your vehicle should be well maintained with the correct levels of all oils coolant etc, as well as having a current MOT, TAX and appropriate insurance....
You will need to bring Somewhere to Sleep (roof or ground tent) something to sleep in (sleeping bag etc, extra blankets are always useful) plenty of Food and Drink (very few McDonalds on green lanes) you'll need some way to cook your food and heat water for Tea etc, At least a change of clothes and footwear, loo roll, bin bags, lighter/matches, chair, Towls and any other camping gear you think you might need....
The price of the weekends is £100 inc VAT per car, £10 goes to the Welsh air ambulance..
